COMBATIVES
Combatives, also known as hand-to-hand combat and close quarters combat, is a system developed in World War II in the UK and US to teach soldiers techniques that are simple, easily learned, retained, and recalled, and brutally effective. As it was developed for the military to be used in combat, the techniques can be devastating against an assailant.
